'When Katie asked me if I wanted to shoot LOVE issue 175, she mentioned a book I’d made with Palace last year. She said she really liked all those boys collected, skateboarding over the years. She began talking about an idea that sounded great.

What would happen if you did something similar with girls for a special issue of LOVE? In 2017, the girls are all there. We know who they are. They have strong personalities and something to say for themselves. That makes the pictures easier. It makes the pictures better.'
