WORSHIP

Difficult music for difficult times

CREATOR / ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

'At the end of March 2009 the1234 collective presented WORSHIP a two-day festival at Shoreditch Church.

Sean McLusky and Martin J Tickner - the men behind the venture - called forth London’s darkest, disturbing, elegant, sophisticated, political perverted, pretentious and punk musicians to play together, in a church, whilst a congregation of likeminded youth sat in pews, pogoed down the alter and felt privileged to be part of something which commented on culture and came duly dubbed as the prophetic ‘Difficult music for difficult times’'.
